The physical body is made up of trillions of cells which all vibrate and the higher the vibration the healthier the cells.
The understanding is that positive emotions like love, gratitude and appreciation help the cells to vibrate at a higher frequency creating well-being within the body and negative emotions like anger, envy and hate make the cells vibrate at a lower rate which over a long period of time may cause dis-ease within the physical body.
In the holistic world we believe we are the sum total of everything we eat, drink and think and it is common knowledge that a healthy diet and lifestyle has an affect on our health and well-being but our emotional health is equally important.
Where are you presently on the emotional scale?
Ideally we need to be in the blue and green sections.
There will be times when we will go up to the purple section and there will be times when we will go into the lower colours. Some people spend most of their time in the lower colours.

Your body responds to the way you think, feel and act and this is often referred to as the mind and body connection. When you are feeling stressed, anxious or upset, your body tries to tell you that something isn’t right. For example, high blood pressure may develop after a particularly stressful event.
Avoid burying your emotions and feelings thinking they will not cause you any harm because every now and again something will trigger that emotion or feeling reminding you that it is still there.
Internalising negative thoughts and emotions can have a harmful effect on the cells in your body and over a long period of time this can have a knock on effect creating dis-ease. Poor emotional health can also weaken your body's immune system, making you more likely to get colds and other infections. Clearing these emotions raises you up the emotional scale creating well-being within the body.
If your negative thoughts and feelings won’t go away and are so strong that they keep you from enjoying your life, it is especially important for you to seek help.
